Our Story

Halden & Rowe started in 2016 in a shared studio in Brooklyn, New York with one idea: fewer, better clothes. We were tired of buying the same T-shirt every summer because last year's had twisted, pilled or shrunk.

So we started where most brands stop — the fabric. We work directly with eleven family-run mills and factories in Portugal, Italy, Peru and Los Angeles, most of whom we have visited more times than we can count.

Today Halden & Rowe is a team of 64 people, two stores and a lot of opinions about seams. We still wear-test every style for a full season before it goes on sale, and we still answer every email ourselves.
